SANDOWN RACECOURSE

Sandown Racecourse required a new stadium roof that was both imaginative and functional. Along with the new roof the racecourse wanted a new spectator terrrace. We were appointed to design the roof solution. This consisted of 8 fabric canopies arranged laterally to create an eye catching roof. A high level balcony on the race course side of the stand was part of the proposal which Fenton Holloway also designed along with the structural steelwork and fabric of the canopies.
