BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL

The design of a spectacular entrance canopy to the Birmingham International Terminal building. The canopy consists of a stressed membrane pulled over a latticed structural steelwork frame.
Fenton Holloway undertook the engineering concept, detailed analysis and design for both the membrane roof and supporting steel framing.
