client: Architen Steel Ltd for the Dept Engineering Science, Oxford University

Based on the architect's (RMJM) concept we developed and prepared detailed designs for this steel link bridge with a tensile fabric membrane enclosure supported from steel hoop frames. Fenton Holloway undertook all of the steel design and detailing as well as the membrane engineering (form finding, load analysis, patterning of fabric and membrane detailing) for a specialist manufacturer.
